Re: [Shadowdale] Fw: SDmud.org webpages
What does he mean by old server vs new server, hardware or software?
Speaking as a person who currently doesnt have anything above level 1 on SD, but has had experience with the history of Shadowdale player wipes, I would say I would put off only unless its a last restore a player wipe. That always hurt the mud when we had to do those. In most cases when we did do those we would advance players back to their old levels (and just had to trust they were telling us the truth, but honestly what does it hurt?).
I vote we reload the mud code / player files back from 1996! Back when I was level 59 ;)

Dear All,
just thought you'd like to know the latest - personally I'd like to be
able to
play the MUD on any server - what do people think?
I'll pass replies back to Unicus.
Cheers, Jim.
